Story:
Second Finnish Elma Meeting (there have been two ac-meats too) was arranged in June 2003.
Participants were again around the Finland and the meeting place were in eastern middle
Fin, in Polvijärvi. Abula from Oulu, px from Haukipudas, Karlis from Helsinki, Jokke from
Espoo, mr from Polvijärvi, Pallukka from Joensuu, terb0 from Lieksa, Tisk from Tampere,
Orcc from Jalasjärvi and Hapa & Tapzu from Kankaanpää. No need to underline that we had
great time there, again. Played normal battles, internal compos, beer battles, watched
replays, drank beer, ate fat food, sat in sauna, swam, grilled, chilled, talked and slept
a couple of times.
Friday
Always us the north guys have to wake up so early. Me Abula and px left Oulu at 5-6am and
arrived to Polvijärvi at 11:00am. We two and mr drove to Pallukka's home to get him and his
baggages. Then to SoGe's home to get one computer more. Then to food store to get something
to eat and drink. At 13:00 we started to organize our stuff in the cottage and Tisk and Orcc
arrived too around that time. terb0 was there about an hour later and Karlis and Jokke at
14 or something. Hapa and Tapzu came when beer battle was going and time was about 21 then.
So on Friday we travelled, messed up the place, played beer battle, drank some more beers
and sauned. In beer battle we played 20mins per level and 5mins preparation for next level
(collecting times and drinking more beer). You had to drink the beer before the deadline
or your time wasn't accepted. Eight guys participated to the competition and four finished
all 10 levels and beers.
Saturday
On Saturday px drove 500km for fun and we other people played normal battles, 6 first
internals, multi wrs and those normal sauna, grill stuff.
Sunday
Hm, 1h tt contest took place on Sunday. Also normal battles of course and all the normal
stuff + a bit heavier drinking night.
Monday
Cleaning up the place and driving to the homes.
Hopefully we'll see next year :*. And a very big hand to mr for arranging the meeting,
thanks a lot.
